Best Army of ETW

Its interesting to hear your opinion about which army is the strongest & why do you prefer this or that country.
Of course you can say that Austrians are the strongest, but they have their weak sides too...
So tell us what you think.

from what i've seen, sometimes the strongest of armies IMO are those who have little to no diversity and have a lot of elite units. Although unfair, and actually pretty uninteresting to play an all cav or all art opponent, these armies have an edge on regular standard armies composed of inf, cav and art. Yesterday i played a guy who was playing spain and had like 7 cassadores and several guardias de corps, while i had a standard army to use my latter expression, but no artillery at all. Obviously he charged with all of his cavalry into one of my flanks and just rolled up the sleeve if you know what i mean, for a quick mass rout which left me . My infantry wasn't able to reach the flank in time, for the sheer mass of cavalry was routing my line infantry pretty quick, and even if i did, i was pinned down by his cassadores. Sadly i was steamrolled. As far as countries are concerned i haven't got many experience with playing most countries as i usually play either great britain, france and prussia. To each of these faction i mention the british fergusson riflemen, the french royal ecossays and the prussian life guards, who are VERY tough in battle.

I agree about the Life guards, they're really awesome, they never route...
Artillery IMO is French the best, they have a lot of diversity.
But 'bout best army, In my opinion there is not really a 'best' army, becuz we all have a different playing style. For example, I prefer elite heavy inf above line infantry, but I think there are a lot of other players who are best suited with really a lot of line infantry...
I think you should play with the army you like most, and just balance it out

I agree, but still there are armies that are very hard to fight against. Austrian & British are always strong opponents because of very good light infantry.
As for me i prefer balanced armies to be prepared for all kinds of situations.
That’s why i like French army. It has no strong light infantry or good choice of cavalierly (like Prussia) but it is a balanced army that i can resist all kinds of enemies...

USA is by far the strongest!! Woot Woot!
