Grenadier style :
1. Isn't Empire Total War using the RTW engine for graphics? (of course, a bit polished though)
2. to The CA: pls don't make an WW2:TW until I am 18 . Also I think it would ruin the whole TW aspect: Huge amount of units, Campaign very nice (but probably they could keep that), complex battlefield tactics (which is the best in ETW I guess, with all those hilss,...),A big variety of units in different(!) countries,..
3.I prefer another 18th/17th century game above another medieval. Although I never played Rome or Shogun, so maybe i would like it too if they made another 'Shogun' game or something more Eastern... Like in China or Japan.
4. Me too, was expecting an expansion in the form of Napoleon, not a whole new game. I'm not quite sure if it will have enough features to keep being interesting, mainly becuz it is about only one person... Imo it is: 1. more money for CA becuz it's a full game and 2.isn't it almost practically the same as empire with better MP,...

2)Barbarian Invasion i didnt like at all. It was made very bad. In RTW each unit was traced very good in contrast of Invasion.
3)Shogun II would even more greater addition to the Total War games, than all others

Totally agree!

Rome Total War 2 would definitely be a great addition to the Total War games, using the etw graphics engine and all. Improving its AI is a must and adding a little gore to the battles would also help, since the style of warfare in those days was pretty intense. Perhaps they could even focus on the Eastern Empire a little more or at least make them more differentiable than they were on the Barbarian Invasion. If there's one thing i didn't like both in Rome Total War and Empire Total War, and ETW being the worst in this aspect is that the units in each faction are mainly exact replicas of each other. It doesn't feel like your playing something different, just the same with different banners . In RTW, well, they simply did the same but changed the color of their pants or named them different but the characters were identical in both looks and stats. M2TW had somethings different like the Byzantine Varangine Guard and the Teutonic Knights. BTW, GrenadierRus, you decided that? Man, you're powerful!

I was expecting an addition about Napoleon. The end of 18th century was a time of Napoleon & it seemed strange for me, that there was not a single word about him in main part of ETW, so I decided, that CA is going to tell us about him in some addition of a game like Kingdoms in Medieval II.

I gess Rome 2 (or Shogun 2) would appear only after WW2 Total War

Btw Napoleon Total war will bee realised soon( february actually), i hoped for a Rome 2, but Napoleon seems cool anyway.
